Creating Meaningful Impact
Over the years, Family Health and Development Foundation (FAHEDEF) has demonstrated a strong track record in delivering programs aimed at skills training for youths and women, health promotion, and small-scale agriculture. Our diverse activities range from artisanal workshops in soap making, pastry, beadwork to more agricultural-centered trainings in mushroom and snail farming, fish farming, and organic farming. We have initiated a variety of agricultural transformations and are keen on promoting eco-friendly practices, evidenced by our programs focusing on the harmful effects of pesticides, the introduction of biofertilizers, and tree planting initiatives with an emphasis on Moringa, known for its medicinal and nutritional value. FAHEDEF is Winner of the 2021 US Ambassador's Self-Help Program.
What We Do at Family Health and Development Foundation
At FAHEDEF, we strive to improve the lives of families in Cameroon by providing them with access to healthcare, education, and other essential services.
We work closely with communities to identify their specific needs and develop programs that address those needs.
Our services include maternal and child health, family planning, nutrition education, Youth capacity development, interfaith dialogue and peacebuilding.
